Hi there! My name is Justin Logue. I'm a Forensic Computing graduate student at the John Jay College of Criminal Justice. My professional interests are security education, digital forensics, and rootkits.

My hope here is to provide a computer security education to the everyday computer user. There are a lot of excellent resources out there (check the links page!) with a focus on technology and security, but my vision with Simply Secure is to stubbornly keep it Plain English and provide:

Notices: Warnings and updates on the latest threats and fixes.

Guides: Step-by-step instructions for improving security.

Blogs: Assorted security wisdom, tips, thoughts, and ramblings.

Someday I might expand this into an audio podcast, but let's take it one step at a time! Regardless, I promise to always keep it as plain as I can.
